Somerset Place
Somerset Place is situated on the north side of Sauchiehall Street to the west of Charing Cross. The terrace was begun in 1840 by John Baird I (1798-1859) and has end and central pavilions. The one at the east was rebuilt c.1962. This area was once residential but now occupied by offices.
