Woodside Crescent
Woodside Crescent in the Charing Cross area of the city was designed by Edinburgh's George Smith (1793-1877). Construction of the houses commenced in 1831 and by the 1840s individual properties with grounds were valued at £2500 to £3500. The Crescent, like most of the terraces in the area, is occupied by offices although some buildings are reverting to domestic use.
