Accessing e-resources off campus
The majority of e-resources subscribed to by the Library are available both on and off campus and can normally be accessed using your username and password.
When you are located off campus there may be additional steps needed in order to get to the login screen. Different e-resources may show different options such as the following:
- Institutional
- Shibboleth
- Remote Organization
- Remote users
- Log in via your Home Institution/ UK Access Management Federation/ UK Federation.
If required, select the UK Federation and then the University of Glasgow as your location. You will then be taken to our login page.
In a small number of cases, the e-resource you are trying to access may require a specific username and password. Please contact Library Services if this is the case.
