- Portcullis - an archive catalogue: that is, it contains descriptions of the unique records held by the archive, with a reference number which will enable you to order or enquire about records by e-mail or in advance of any visit to the Archives search room at Westminster, London.

- Portcullis - gateway to the archives of Parliament. Portcullis is an electronic catalogue containing descriptions of around 3 million records.
- Early Day Motions database - Early Day Motion or EDM, is the term used to describe notices of motions given by Members that are not generally expected to be debated. Effectively, the tabling of an EDM is a device to draw attention to an issue, and to elicit support for it by the means of inviting other Members to add their signatures to the motion.
