About the SRC
Glasgow University Students’ Representative Council exists to promote the interests of students to the University and beyond, alongside providing a range of support services as well as social and personal development opportunities
What are Class Reps?
Any student at the University can become a Class Rep. Class Reps are elected during the first few weeks of each semester with the class lecturer or course convenor asking for volunteers and organising a brief election.
Class Reps are essential to both the University and the SRC. They allow students to air their views to the academics and support staff that run their department on issues like course content, teaching and resources. They are sometimes the first point of contact for students who have a problem, or suggestion about a class as a whole.
