L&T Funding

This page contains links to UofG funding that is likely to be of relevance to staff involved in learning and teaching. Although we have tried to include all relevant links, this list is by no means definitive. Funding for travel could possibly be met by the International Partnership Development Fund (IPDF) which is open for all types of international collaboration. Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) related applications are looked favourably upon. Attention is also drawn to the Chancellor’s Fund which supports innovative projects that have potential impact across the University and wider community.

Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoTL) Fund

This fund supports the scholarship of  teaching and learning, that is, the evaluation of learning, teaching and assessment in higher education, and has been created to support work that will provide insight into the enhancement of learning and teaching and create an evidence base for change. [Link requires UofG staff login]

Learning & Teaching Development Fund

The Learning and Teaching Development Fund (LTDF) supports developments in the practice of learning and teaching that will contribute to the enhancement of learning and teaching across the University and to the delivery of the objectives of the Learning and Teaching Strategy. All University of Glasgow staff are eligible to bid for funds, and LTDF funding may be used to match other funding. [Link requires UofG staff login]

Student Staff Partnership Schemes (SSPS)

The learning and teaching student-staff partnership schemes have been established to specifically target co-creation partnership work between students and members of academic staff to work together in ways that reflect the commitments in the Learning and Teaching Strategy. [Link requires UofG staff login]
