We are pleased to announce the recent launch of Student MyGrades and the Staff MyGrades Moodle plugin with the grade capture tab on 3rd September.

This innovative tool will provide students and staff with a more streamlined and efficient way to access and manage grades. Colleagues not yet familiar with this project can learn more about MyGrades via the project webpage.

Student MyGrades will be visible to all students starting from semester 1 of the 2024/2025 academic year, and it is important that Gradebook is set up correctly. Find out how to do this on LISU’s SharePoint (a recorded upskilling session is available).

Early Adopters

Volunteer Early Adopters and the existing GCAT users have been invited to be part of our Early Adopter cohort in Semester 1 of AY 24/25. As early adopters, they will experience the new features firsthand and provide valuable feedback to help us refine the Staff MyGrades Moodle plugin.

A wider rollout of Staff MyGrades is planned for all other Moodle users for AY 25/26.

User Acceptance Testing: A Collaborative Effort

We are actively engaging in user acceptance testing for the Staff MyGrades Aggregation tab. This crucial process involves working with testers from across our colleges to ensure the tool meets the needs of various courses and schools. By gathering feedback from diverse perspectives, we can identify areas for improvement and ensure that the Aggregation tab is fit for a wide range of teaching and assessment practices.
