Launch of A&F PET Dashboards
Enhancing University of Glasgow’s Teaching Practice
The Assessment & Feedback Practice Enhancement Tool Dashboards are now available for all staff in the University of Glasgow. Through this anonymous survey, the Assessment & Feedback, Practice & Policy Workstream has compiled dashboards that represent the results through a College view and a School view.
Colleges and Schools are encouraged to review their aggregated results with a view to reflect on the ongoing enhancements they have made to date in their Assessment and Feedback practices that align with the Learning Through Assessment framework.
The A&F Practice Enhancement Tool saw a huge uptake across all Colleges. The AFPP Workstream wanted to take this opportunity to thank all those who took the time to share their practice.

How do you navigate the dashboards?
The results of the Practice Enhancement Tool will provide Colleges with an overview of areas within their assessment and feedback practice that align with the Learning Through Assessment pillars, and areas where further support and development might be needed.
- The A&F PET dashboards display two views, a University view split by College, and a College view split by School.
- The left-hand side bar of each dashboard allows navigation to each question and the results are split by LTA pillar (i.e. Meaningful, Iterative, Programmatic and Inclusive assessment and feedback). Each question allows you to select your School, College and filter all question responses.
- The filter options will allow you to highlight your chosen response. This can be useful to focus on specific response topics.
Where do I go to get more information and support?
Schools and Colleges should reflect on the data and how it aligns with the Learning Through Assessment Framework. This can support devolved school decision making as you continue to ensure assessment and feedback is meaningful, iterative, programmatic, and inclusive.
The Learning Through Assessment framework is available on the Assessment & Feedback Resources Hub. It sets out the University of Glasgow’s approach to assessment, based around the principle that assessment can and should support students’ learning, from the beginning of their university career until graduation and beyond.
The Assessment & Feedback Resources Hub also has exemplars of best practice that align with the LTA. These can help give insight into how other areas of the University are diversifying their assessment and feedback.
