Lab Design Case Studies
A range of on-campus labs took place during the 2020-21 academic year. These were the first labs to be offered under social distancing restrictions, which required 2-metre spacing.
Drawing from the best practices identified in those labs, the following short case studies highlight some of the most valuable approaches worth investing in (for staff as well as for students), as well as projections on how they might be modified to operate with 1-metre distancing.
Use these as inspiration in designing your own lab courses for the coming year.
