Students produce a revision resource on a behaviour exhibited by a species of their choice, answering a series of set questions (for many behaviour-species combinations, there will likely be limited information available online beyond specific academic papers). Previously, one question asked students to mention what they think is the most important question for researchers moving forwards (and why). Wording now more explicitly invites personal reflections for two of the prompts:

“6. Consideration of what may have limited previous research efforts into this behaviour in your chosen prey animal so far? Can you think of anything that would help researchers in this field learn more?

7. What research questions about this behaviour in your chosen animal do you think would be most interesting for future studies to address, and why? These can be questions suggested by your readings, or ones that occurred to you while thinking about the topic.

Questions 6 and 7 can be approached less formally than the others, if you choose. These questions involve you being reflective and critical, so feel free to offer your independent opinion on the field and use phrases like “I think...” or “In my opinion...”
