Use of AI generated case studies for a MSc-level conversation course on qualitative research methods (20 credits – 180-240 students). Chat GPT to generate a transcript for a focus group, an introduction and a discussion for the study, and some theme names. These examples were then reviewed and edited. Using these examples in practical lab work for three activities a) qualitative analysis coding, b) critical evaluation, and c) theme names.
