Amended Guidance to audiocodes 405HD phones

Due to a software update, some of the display information on your phone has changed, including the steps for call forwarding and call transfers

Updated instructions for call forwarding

Set up call forward

  1. Type *33* and then the number you wish to forward to (e.g., *33* 0141330xxxx).
  2. Press Dial.
  3. The phone will automatically make a call and then hang up.

Cancel call forward

  1. Type *32* and press Dial. 
  2. To check that call forward has been cancelled, press the button under CFW. If the call forward is still on, it will display the number the phone has been forwarded to.

Check call forward is on

  1. Press the button under CFW.
  2. Once the display appears, it will show the number the phone is forwarded to.

Test call forward

  1. Call your extension from another phone and the number it is being forwarded to, should ring.

Updated instructions for call transfers

Transfer a call

Direct transfers are not available currently, please follow the steps below:

  1. Select New call.
  2. Enter the extension number you are transferring the call to. The original call is placed on hold while this is carried out.
  3. When the person the call is being transferred to answers, select Conf to join the two calls.
  4. Select Trans to drop out of the call once connected.
