Binding: | England, 18th-century speckled calf; covers decorated with a border of triple gold fillets; rebacked in the 19th or 20th century; original spine covering not preserved; edges decorated with a gilt roll composed of flower heads within a circle alternating with a fern; turn-ins undecorated; marbled endpapers; front flyleaves have watermark of a post-horn in a shield with a crown above and with the name “L V GERREVINK” below, and the countermark “IV”; 18th-century slip with titling instructions to binder tipped-in between [a1] and [a2].
