Decoration: | A five-line initial “M” supplied in silver (now oxidized) on 2/1r (f. 7r) is embellished with white vine decoration defined in crimson and green with white dotting; the white vine decoration extends into the inner and lower margins on a background of dark blue with white dotting; the lower border is further outlined in crimson and at the centre of the border is an empty shield. Other initials supplied throughout in alternate red and washed-out blue; many of the initials have been wrongly identified by the rubricator and corrections in small letters have been added later in brown ink. |
