Binding: | 16th-century undecorated calf over wooden boards; volume restored and rebacked ca. 1985 by Ian Maver (restoration binder, Special Collections Department, University of Glasgow Library), and given new endpapers and flyleaves; original spine covering and much of original rear cover lost; original rear pastedown put back; an unidentified hand-coloured woodcut of the Annunciation, formerly pasted onto the inside of the front board, is preserved separately; a single missing clasp replaced with a modern brass clasp (catch plate on front board).
