Binding: | 18th-century gold-tooled red goatskin; covers decorated with a floral roll and an anthemion roll to a two panel design, with separate ornaments at the inner corners of the panels; gold-tooled spine; marbled endpapers; gauffered gilt-edged leaves; three silk bookmarks (pink, green, and blue); front and rear flyleaves have watermark of a shield containing a bird and two flower-heads(?).
