Binding: | 18th-century gold-tooled red goatskin; covers decorated with a frame composed of an anthemion roll and floral roll within fillets, and a centre panel formed by the same anthemion roll (the panel embellished with separate ornaments at its inner and outer corners); gold-tooled spine; gilt-edged leaves, gauffered; marbled endpapers; flyleaves have watermark of a fleur-de-lys within a shield surmounted by a crown.
