Fol. π2 a-i8 l-o8 p6 q2.  [114] leaves.

GIP number: F8
Shelf-mark: Sp Coll Hunterian Bw.3.11 (see main library entry for this item)
Provenance: Joseph Smith (1673/4?-1770), British Consul in Venice:  lot 824 in 'Bibliotheca Smithiana: a catalogue of the curious, elegant, and very valuable library of Joseph Smith ... Which will be sold by auction, by S. Baker and G. Leigh ... on Monday, January the 25th, 1773'.
William Hunter (1718-1783), physician and anatomist:  purchased by Hunter at the Smith sale for £1.16.0 according to the annotated British Library copy of the Smith sale catalogue - shelfmark S.C.S. 8(7).
University of Glasgow:  Hunterian bequest, 1807;  Hunterian Museum bookplate on front pastedown, with former shelfmark “L.3.1”, overlaying an earlier bookplate (probably that of Joseph Smith).
Binding: Italy, 18th-century parchment;  green leather title label;  sprinkled blue-edged leaves;  green silk bookmark.  Size:  253 x 190 mm.
Leaf size: 248 x 183 mm.
Annotations: Very occasional nota marks and marginal annotations, all heavily washed out;  partially read 18th-century pencil numbering (a shelf-mark?) beginning "f3[...]" on front pastedown.
Decoration: None.
Imperfections: Wanting quire q containing the colophon.  The preliminary unsigned quire π containing the Table is bound in at the end.  Both leaves of the Table (whose printed text begins on π1v and ends on π2r) are damaged and have been mounted on blank leaves, with the result that an early manuscript title 'Religione xpi' at the top of the blank page π1r has been obscured.  Only the upper part of p6 (text on p6r ending "FINIS DEOGRATIAS AMEN") is extant and it has been mounted onto the recto of the first of the two supplied blank leaves.
