Binding: Switzerland(?), 16th-century blind-tooled quarter pigskin over wooden boards - decorated with fillets and a foliate roll;  remains of a single brass clasp (chased);  manuscript fore-edge and spine titles;  evidence of a parchment manuscript strip used to strengthen spine;  18th-century(?) endpapers.   Size:  235 x 162 mm.
Leaf size: 222 x 160 mm.
Annotations: On front pastedown “Lit.R.” in ink in an 18th-century hand;  a number in ink “f2:08”(?) in an 18th-century hand on recto of front free endpaper;  pencil reference on verso of front free endpaper to the Stultiferae naviculae seu scaphae fatuarum mulierum of Jodocus Badius Ascensius.
