William Euing (1788-1874), insurance broker, Glasgow:  source unknown;  an early Euing inventory number “46” in pencil on verso of front free endpaper.
University of Glasgow:  presented by Euing in 1872 according to University Library bookplate on front pastedown.
Binding: Scotland, 19th-century straight-grained black goatskin, decorated with a double blind fillet at edges;  gilt bands on spine and gilt title;  marbled endpapers;  gilt-edged leaves;  binder’s ticket on front pastedown “Bound by Carss & Co.y Glasgow”.   Size:  199 x 150 mm.

Annotations: Brief marginal annotation in Latin in a humanist hand on H7v with nota marks continuing onto H8r;  single textual correction on A7r;  guide-letter “m” supplied on π2r;  liturgical annotation in a humanist hand on Q4v beginning “Offi[ciu]m S[anct]i Gabrielis Arcangeli du[ple]x mai[us] ...”;  title added in a 16th-century hand below colophon on Q4r “Epistole d[omi]ni Mathei Bossi”;  “folio 280” and “no. [ink blemish?] i2” in a 16th-century(?) hand on Q4v.
