Binding: France, 18th-century red goatskin decorated with triple gold fillets, a small gold fleuron at each corner;  gold-tooled spine;  marbled endpapers;  gilt-edged leaves;  green silk bookmark.   Size:  268 x 196 mm.

Annotations: Early manuscript title on [a1r] “Le remede du corps” in black ink;  on [a1v] “In no[m]i[n]e d[omi]ni” in red ink.
Decoration: Initials (a few with pen-flourishing) supplied in red or in red with reserved white;  paragraph marks supplied in red throughout;  capitals washed in yellow throughout;  underlining in red on [a1v] and [a2r] and on l4r;  woodcut on b1r coloured by hand.
