Annotations: Frequent 16th-century marginal annotations mainly extracting keywords;  frequent “nota” marks, pointing hands and underlining;  cropped early inscription on a2r;  bound in at rear of the volume are four leaves with tête de boeuf watermark (similar to C.M. Briquet, 'Les filigranes', vol. 4, nos 14871-5) - the first two contain extracts from Ovid’s 'Fasti' written in a 16th-century German hand, the last two are blank;  various bibliographical references in a 19th-century German hand on front endpapers.
