Confirmed (22 Mar. 2013) as GW 720 by Dr Falk Eisermann (Gesamtkatalog der Wiegendrucke), but the following corrections are needed to the GW and Pellechet transcriptions:  a1r, line 3:  “ceps. quarto. ethico” instead of “ceps quarto ethico”;  a1v, line 23:  “... viro=||rum ...” instead of “... viro||rum ...”;  f4v, line 16:  “... tractatulus ...” instead of “... tractatus ...”

Provenance:	Charles Spencer (1675-1722), 3rd Earl of Sunderland:  shelfmark of the Sunderland Library on first front flyleaf “005:12” in ink, and on the front free endpaper is the subsequent Sunderland shelfmark in pencil “108.B.30” (see S. De Ricci, English collectors of books & manuscripts, 1530-1930, p. 39);  lot 152 (p. 12) in Bibliotheca Sunderlandiana:  sale catalogue of the truly important and very extensive library of printed books known as the Sunderland or Blenheim Library.   The first portion, (London:  1881);  sold to Bernard Quaritch for £5.5.0 according to the printed list of prices and purchasers’ names appended to the Sunderland sale catalogue.
