Managing & Supporting Performance
The University Strategy recognises that it is its people who drive success and that it cannot achieve its ambitions without talented, passionate and motivated staff. The University therefore holds a reasonable expectation of its employee’s levels of skill, knowledge, ability and the level of application needed for the effective performance of their duties alongside an expectation that managers will support a high-performance culture by communicating realistic and achievable performance expectations and providing appropriate feedback on performance. This policy outlines the key considerations around managing performance.
