Meeting people of different faiths and beliefs
Visiting places of worship
Whether visiting alone, or in a group, it is important to follow the guidelines for clothing and behaviour so as not to cause offence (for example, covering your head or removing shoes before entering a place of worship).
Hosting multi-faith events
If a service is to be held at the premises of a faith community it may be a good idea to hold the service in a social area rather than a sacred area, as these are usually not so imbued with religious and symbolic significance and might therefore be more appropriate for multi-faith events.
Eating together
Many religious traditions have certain dietary requirements as a result of their beliefs. The easiest way to cater for a multi-faith event is to make it absolutely vegetarian. It is probably preferable not to offer alcohol at a multi-faith event.
