Hunter Halls

Situated in the historic main building of the University, this pillared hall offers a large flexible floor space ideal for large events.  The spacious and light Halls which overlook University Avenue and the Cloisters; feature ornate, painted pillars and large lead panelled windows and are accessed from the East Quadrangle. The Hunter Halls can be used as two individual halls for up to 300 delegates theatre style or combine to make one larger hall for a maximum of 600.  Hunter Halls can accommodate up to 360 for formal dining or 300 for a dinner dance.  The Hunter Halls are named after University luminary William Hunter (1718-1783) whose donated collection forms the core of the Hunterian Museum.
