Now is your chance to explore a wide range of international opportunities for summer. Kickstart your global future with Short-Term Mobility!
At the Summer Abroad Fair, you'll be able to
- learn about various summer opportunities, including summer schools, volunteering and work experiences
- discover the different countries you can go to
- hear from previous summer school students about their experience
- find out about funding options to help with going abroad.
This event is suitable for ALL undergraduate students. There'll be general opportunities, regardless of your area of study, and other course-specific ones.

The Short Term Mobility team will provide information, advice and guidance on the opportunities available, the application process and funding. After, our Main Sponsor Think Pacific will present on their organisation and the range of summer options open to students.
12:00 - 14:00: Exhibitor Fair
Dining Hall and Drawing Room
Drop-in at various stands in the Dining Hall and Drawing Room to learn about opportunities with a range of third-party providers.
14:00-15:00: Presentations from The Intern Group and Gotoco
Debates Chamber
Our Key Sponsors The Intern Group and Gotoco will present on their organisations and the range of summer options open to students.
Application information
The Short-Term Mobility Team is excited to launch applications for both Summer Schools and Work based learning applications for funding.
Summer Schools
The first round of applications will be open from 9 December 2024 till 17 January 2025. The second round will be open from 20 January till 17 March 2025. Students can submit an application to the Short-Term Mobility team for either; a Go Abroad Scholarship or Tuition Fee waiver spot. Work Based Learning
The University of Glasgow Short-Term Mobility Team has several Turing Supported scheme spots available for Work based Learning programmes run by Third Party Providers. MyCampus Applications for Work Based Learning will open on Monday, 9 December 2024 and will close on Monday, 3 March 2025.
