Workplace 101

Through 2024-25 academic year

New for the 2024-25 academic year, Workplace 101 is a programme of events that will equip UofG students with key skills and confidence to excel in the world of work.

In collaboration with employers and professional development experts, we're developing sessions on workplace etiquette, practical skills, money management, building connections and handling workplace challenges.

Sessions for Semester 1 include:

  • Professional Behaviour: Dos & Don’ts
  • How to Handle Workplace Challenges & Boost Your Resilience
  • Building Your Workplace Confidence
  • From Uni to Work: Mastering Professional Writing
  • Perfecting Hybrid & Virtual Communication
  • Navigating Multi-Gen Workplaces: Tools for Thriving with All Ages

We're currently looking for partner organisations to help in the delivery of sessions for Semester 2.
