Thomas Campbell Papers

Papers of Thomas Campbell (1777-1844) and the Campbell family. Campbell was a poet and rector of the University of Glasgow.

The collection includes:

• many family letters 
• transcripts of Campbell's poems
• manuscript drafts of his critical works
• documents relating to University business

The papers are accompanied by 36 printed books, mainly from Campbell's personal library
