Printed Art Archive
The Printed Art Archive supplements the Library's holdings of papers by late 19th-century and early 20th-century artists, such as the Whistler Archive and MacColl Papers.
Consisting of nearly 500 items, printed books of works by painters and etchers such as the Pennells, Francis Seymour Haden (1818-1910) and James Guthrie (1859-1930) are located in this collection. Also included are a number of critical works on art of the period, and some runs of important periodicals (such as the Studio), many of which contain examples of artwork.
