Eaton Collection
Papers of John C. Eaton (sometime lecturer in mathematics at the University of Strathclyde) relating to a projected biography of the late 18th-century mathematician, Colin MacLaurin. Also included in the collection are some printed volumes, mainly 18th-century mathematical works.
Presented to the Library in 1972 by John Eaton’s widow.
