Broady Collection
A collection of over 400 Socialist pamphlets, broadsheets, election manifestos and posters, dated from the 1930s to the 1950s.
The emphasis of the collection is on:
- publications of the Independent Labour Party
- the writings of the anarchist Guy Aldred
- publications dealing with post-War recovery plans for Glasgow
Presented to the University in 1959 by a number of prominent Glasgow Socialists: Maurice Broady, Sir Patrick Dollan, Baillie David Gibson and Henry J. Crone.
