Winter Hosting
Winter Hosting is a brand new scheme at UofG aimed at enhancing the wellbeing and student experience of international students and fostering a sense of community amongst international students and staff.
The International Student Support team will match international students who remain in Glasgow over Christmas Vacation with university staff members who volunteer as hosts. Hosts and students then take part in a festive activity of their choice on a day of their choosing during Christmas Vacation.
Activities could range from sharing a meal at the host’s home, decorating a Christmas tree, going ice skating, attending a musical event or pantomime, or simply meeting up for hot chocolate!
