The UofG Welcome Team will be at the airport between 12:00 - 18:00 on the following dates:
Thursday 12 September
Friday 13 September
Saturday 14 September
Sunday 15 September
Friday 20 September
Saturday 21 September
Sunday 22 September
All international students arriving on busy flights will be processed through immigration together so you may experience some delays on arrival. Please ensure you have your supporting documents (that you used to apply for your visa) in your hand luggage or easily accessible on your phone or tablet.
Before arriving into the Glasgow International Airport, please read more about what you are allowed to bring and what NOT to bring into the UK. As Glasgow Airport in the past has had issues with students bringing in food which could be prohibited when arriving into the UK, which ultimately may cause delays at the airport.
Please read the UKCISA guidance about this here.
Glasgow International Airport is located 8 miles from the Glasgow city centre.
Please note there is no train station at Glasgow Airport.
