Undergraduate entry requirements

Mongolian Certificate of Complete Secondary Education

The Mongolian Certificate of Complete Secondary Education is insufficient for entry to the University of Glasgow.  To be eligible for entry a student must have one of the following:

Recognised Higher Education Institute

One year of study at a recognised Higher Education Institute on a relevant degree programme with a minimum aggregate of 75%

A-levels and International Baccalaureate Diploma

American Curriculum

Students applying with American qualifications (SAT/ACT/AP) should refer to the USA country page

Glasgow International College

A pass on a recognised foundation programme. Our partner, Glasgow International College offers preparation courses to international students who wish to study with us but do not meet our academic entry requirements.

Postgraduate taught entry requirements

We normally accept a Diplomi (Specialist Diploma) or the Magistr Diplomi (Master's Degree) with the following grade equivalencies:

  • For programmes requiring a UK 2.1 Honours degree: Diplomi (Specialist Diploma) or the Magistr Diplomi (Master's Degree) with GPA 3/4 or 80%
  • For programmes requiring a UK 2.2 Honours degree: Diplomi (Specialist Diploma) or the Magistr Diplomi (Master's Degree) with GPA 2.7/4 or 75%

The team will give a presentation covering the application process, entry requirements and student life. There will be time at the end of the presentation for you to ask questions.
