Calling all young explorers!
We know about waves in the ocean but let's not forget that they are just one type of wave which can be found across the natural world.
At this fun family event, we will take young explorers (age 4 - 11) on a journey of discovery in the fields of zoology, physics, and let's not forget art!
With related objects brought out from our zoology stores…
- Learn how Water Skaters use ripples to communicate
- Explore the movements of snakes and the wave-like patterns they can make
For your creative side…
- Make your own water skater and give it a test ride
- Make a jolly snake to take home
Follow the Trail – how many different types of wave do you think you will find?
