The Hunterian’s William Hunter to Damien Hirst: The Dead Teach the Living exhibition featured in The Guardian’s ‘Five of the best…art exhibitions’ on 1 July.
The exhibition is curated by students from the MLitt Curatorial Practice (Contemporary Art) programme and features the premiere of Damien Hirst’s Necromancer alongside other contemporary and historical items that explore the links between art and science.
The show also features items from the collections of Hunterian founder Dr William Hunter, plus new works by artists Scott Rogers and Catherine Street.
Necromancer comes from the collection of renowned art dealer, collector and curator Anthony d’Offay.
