Annan & Sons, 1893.The Hunterian is home to one of the world’s most important collections of the work of Scottish architect, designer and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868-1928) and the Mackintosh House - a meticulous reassemblage of his Glasgow home.

Mackintosh was born 150 years ago this year and the city of Glasgow is hosting a year-long programme of events to mark this special anniversary.

To celebrate Mackintosh's birthday on 7 June, The Hunterian is offering admission to the Mackintosh House for just £1.50.

Admission is usually £6.00 and £3.00 concession. Admission is free for children under the age of 18.

Entry to the Mackintosh House is by guided tour Tuesday to Friday, 10.00am – 12.30pm. Tours run every 30 minutes. The maximum number per tour is 12. Tour places are allocated on a first come basis. Admission is self-guided Tuesday to Friday from 1.00pm, and all day on Saturday and Sunday. Last admission 4.15pm (3.15pm on Sunday). Tickets are priced at £6.00 and £3.00 concession.
