The LINEs4Palestine project started in April 2024, in the midst of unspeakable death and destruction in Gaza. It was born from the wish and the will to do something to support graduates and teachers in Gaza, and to keep hoping for more just futures.

Guided by what Palestinian participants found meaningful, we designed a series of workshops, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and a final mini-conference featuring presenters from both Gaza and Glasgow. The project reached over 200 Palestinian graduates and students, 80% of whom were based in Gaza, and engaged more than 50 colleagues from the School of Education (University of Glasgow) and the British Council.

In this event we will launch our Multivocal Project Report. We will also provide information on current projects to support Gaza Higher Education that we are currently working on. We hope that this event will be a way to forge new connections and synergies, to keep working together to support our academic colleagues and students in Palestine.

The event will be hybrid - please indicate whether you will be joining in person (at the University of Glasgow Gilmorehill campus) or online via Zoom - link and venue address will be confirmed closer to the event.
