NOVEMBER EDITION
Despite the challenges we’re all facing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, our six Deans for Global Engagement (DGEs) continue to advance their vital work, supporting our existing partners and developing new opportunities for collaboration.
Travel may be restricted but global engagement continues with gusto. Recent highlights include a virtual research workshop with the University of Sydney, and collaborations in online international learning with partners in the USA. Looking to the future, our DGEs are planning activity in all regions of the world and we look forward to working with our partners.
In this, and in future issues of the newsletter, we will be introducing you to each of our DGEs so that we may explore new opportunities for working together. We start the series with Professor Clare McManus, DGE for South-east Asia & Australasia.
With best wishes,
Professor William Cushley
Assistant Vice-Principal International
