University of Zurich, Switzerland

With its 26,000 enrolled students, the University of Zurich (UZH) is Switzerland's largest university.

UZH is set up of seven faculties: Theology; Law; Business, Economics and Informatics; Medicine; Veterinary Medicine; Arts and Social Sciences and Sciences. Covering some 100 different subject areas, the University offers the widest spectrum of Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Switzerland as well as outstanding PhD programs and excellent learning opportunities.

UZH belongs to Europe's leading research institutions and is an active member of the League of European Research Universities (LERU). The University attracts the brightest minds, and its outstanding research priority programs and centers of competence enhance the University’s visibility. Of the 8,800 employees, 650 are professors and 5,500 other researchers. Thus, numerous distinctions highlight the University's international renown in the fields of medicine, immunology, genetics, neuroscience and structural biology as well as in economics.
