UCI Cycling World Championships

UCI World Cycling Championships

In early August, the inaugural UCI Cycling World Championships were hosted in Glasgow and across Scotland.

The single biggest cycling event in history, it brought together 13 existing individual cycling world championships into one mega event, including BMX freestyle and racing; indoor cycling; road races, some of which took in University Avenue; mountain biking; para cycling and track. We celebrated with our own Neah Evans (BVMS 2014, MSc 2021) who, with partner Elinor Barker, won gold in the women’s Madison race.
