Giving Day report

The University's second Giving Day, on 3 and 4 October, gave us all an opportunity to celebrate Glasgow while uniting to make an impact on our students, their experience, and the pioneering research happening here. The generosity, enthusiasm and spirit of our community truly made a difference – an incredible total of £121,273 was raised through the efforts of 523 donors.

From Bake-Offs to LEGO tower-building, to our mascot Cornelius bravely taking on the LEGO walk, the days were packed with events like those pictured below.

Director of Development & Alumni Frances Shepherd expressed her gratitude: "Thank you so much to everyone who's got involved, whether that’s by giving a gift, getting involved in activities, sharing memories or simply following along with everything that was happening. Thanks to you, we’ll be able to support more students as they pursue their dream of a world-changing Glasgow education."

No matter how you chose to get involved, thank you for being at the heart of this success!
