- Create your own DNA bracelet, blow giant monster bubbles, and discover the science behind bath bombs as you make your own.

- Step into the shoes of a scientist with fun experiments using your hair, leaves, and orange juice - Try out forensic techniques, just like in C.S.I.

- Explore the campus on a 'bird' spotting adventure and encounter a variety of marine and terrestrial creatures, from praying mantises to tiny amoebae, and learn about their amazing behaviours.

- Dive into biomedical science by testing your athletic abilities with our Sports Science team—see how high you can jump, test your putting skills, experience gait analysis, and measure your peak cycling power. Don’t miss the chance to visit UWS’s state-of-the-art Environmental Chamber, used to train elite athletes.

- Discover the science behind lung health and even hear your own blood pumping in your body.

- Join the paramedic science team to study your breathing and circulation and pick up valuable life-saving CPR skills.

- Uncover the theory behind computer animation and learn why microwaves are used for more than just reheating your soup.
