Applications for Glasgow Science Festival 2024 are now open

We warmly welcome your proposals to be part of the 18th Glasgow Science Festival, running from the 6th to 16th June, 2024. This year our theme is ‘Glasgow's Transforming'.

We’re thinking- the transformative effect of research on e.g., society, health care, technologies, future cities, changing opinions and thinking. Nature restorations- creating wetlands, reserves, and parks from brownfield sites. Development and regeneration of the city, campuses, new bridges. The transformation of the city from industrial past to modern times. Changing one thing to another- metamorphosis, circular economy, recycling. The list is by no means exhaustive.

Our partners have a very broad research base, so as always, please don’t worry if you have a great idea that doesn’t fit with the theme. Not all our activities will, and we would still want to hear from you.

GSF is a STEAMS festival, encompassing Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, Mathematics and Social Science. Proposals from all fields are very welcome.

Find out more about this years plans, how to apply and the festival timeline in the GSF24 Content Proposal Info pack. Access the GSF24 Online Proposal Form using the link below. Deadline to submit is Monday 15th January, 2024.
