Our most iconic historic places are under threat from the modern world. Explore how we can defend them through science, technology, and sustainable practices to ensure we care for and protect them for future generations. Historic Environment Scotland are offering free 1 hr workshops in your classroom. Focusing on climate change, heritage crime, conservation, and sustainability, while highlighting the career roles of those who defend and champion it. Each school will receive a post-workshop activities pack and the HES team can arrange free self-guided site visits to either Dumbarton Castle or Newark Castle. The workshop is only available to schools in Dumbarton and Port Glasgow.
