Byres Hub Community Day 2024: Transforming Glasgow’s Health

Health & Wellbeing activity day at the new Byres Community Hub, University of Glasgow, Sat 8th June, 11am-3pm, Booking required, Free.

Journey through our escape room-style fun challenges using your talents or some new skills you will learn along the way to solve them and ‘Transform Glasgow’s Health’. Drop into our main exhibition area for music, art, refreshments and more in Byres Hub!

Staff and students from the School of Health and Wellbeing, University of Glasgow and volunteers from some of our Hub groups and community partners will be on hand to share their knowledge and maybe even some clues! Then design the headline you want to see about Glasgow's Health ten years from now. Booking in advance for this experience is advised. On the day, you can also visit the Hub for some refreshments and to enjoy some music and a range of coproduced research and community art exhibitions and have a go at making some art yourself. No booking is required for the drop-in activities.

The School of Health and Wellbeing are pleased to be partnering a range of organisations to deliver this community day including The Ideas Club, Sight Scotland; BSL Cafes; Scottish Ambulance Service; Scribble Creative Writing Group; Weekday WOW Factor; Differabled, Halo Arts and more through exhibitions in Byres Hub as part of The Glasgow International Festival of Contemporary Art.
