Glasgow Science Festival is coming to the Partick Annexe for an afternoon of science for the whole family! Get creative doing origami, drawing, and painting with social scientists from the University of Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde to discover how many different languages are spoken in Glasgow. Launch into the world of butterflies and understand nature's most amazing transformation, create your own metamorphosising butterfly and learn about how the shape of butterflies affects them with the University of Glasgow.

Two of these activities were developed as part of Glasgow Science Festival in Action. A training scheme run by GSF to support University of Glasgow PhD students to develop their public engagement skills. The team of PhD students from the Colleges of Science & Engineering and Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences were briefed to create family friendly activities linked to the festival theme, Glasgow's Transforming. Mellisa Wright, Victoria Desiree Assmann, Antonia Trujillo, Isacco Nonino, Lucie Tvrdá, Olivia Yi Hai Xin Lucianno, Connor Sullivan, Li An Cowley and Joseph Izang Ibrahim did an amazing job and we hope you enjoy the activities.
