Detective Knutsford needs your help to solve the mystery of the missing red squirels! Join research students from the University of Glasgow and carry out a scavenger hunt to find the red squirrels. Find the facts to answer the questions and discover the difference between red and grey squirrels. Get crafty and create a red or grey squirrel, if you think you are up it you can even try the origami challenge.
Detective Knutsford and the Missing Red Squirrels was developed as part of Glasgow Science Festival in Action. A training scheme run by GSF to support University of Glasgow PhD students to develop their public engagement skills. The team of PhD students from the Colleges of Science & Engineering and Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences were briefed to create family friendly activities linked to the festival theme, Glasgow's Transforming. Paula Ledesma Fernandez, Wing See Ma, Jennifer Keeping, Lineta Stonkute and Chantal Sharples did an amazing job and we hope you enjoy the activities.
