Create your own healing jelly, University of Glasgow
Do you have what it takes to repair injuries with jelly? Scientists at the University of Glasgow are working to develop special jelly to replace damage in your body, join in and try make your own brain and bone jelly.
Biomaterials: Healing your Body with Jelly was developed as part of Glasgow Science Festival in Action. A training scheme run by GSF to support University of Glasgow PhD students to develop their public engagement skills. The team of PhD students from the Colleges of Science & Engineering and Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences were briefed to create family friendly activities linked to the festival theme, Glasgow's Transforming. Emily Maxwell, Jack Baird, Zarina Issabekova, Clara Cosa Garcia and Finn Tierney did an amazing job and we hope you enjoy the activities.
